Advanced SEO Optimization

Over the past few weeks, I’ve taken a deep dive into digital marketing strategies, and I’ve learned a lot! From learning how to optimize local search visibility to creating a structured PPC campaign, this class has given me the tools to elevate a brand’s online presence. One of my biggest takeaways was the power of local SEO. Through my work on Oo-de-Lally Coffee, I saw how small businesses can make a huge impact just by refining their Google Business Profile, using local keywords, and keeping their online listings consistent. These strategies make a business more discoverable and, more importantly, build trust with potential customers.

Analyzing website architecture taught me how technical SEO issues—like broken links, orphan pages, and duplicate content—can hold a website back from ranking higher in search results. And let’s not forget about PPC campaigns! Crafting a targeted ad strategy helped me understand how businesses can balance paid and organic marketing to drive the best results. All of this work directly influenced my final project, where I created a comprehensive marketing plan for Oo-de-Lally Coffee, ensuring its digital presence is optimized for both visibility and engagement.

Looking ahead, these skills will be invaluable in my career. Whether I’m refining a website’s structure, running ad campaigns, or helping a brand improve its local search rankings, I now have a toolkit that sets me up for success. Digital marketing is always evolving, but this class has given me a solid foundation to keep growing and adapting. More than anything, I’ve learned that even small optimizations can lead to big results—and that’s an exciting thing to take into the future!
