Digital Marketing Fundamentals

This month, I've been working hard on my coursework to create a solid digital marketing strategy for Oo-de-Lally Coffee, the coffee shop I'm studying. I've been learning about the basics of digital marketing and how I can use that knowledge to make the most of the coffee shop's strengths, like its great brand and unique atmosphere. The PESTEL Analysis for Oo-de-Lally Coffee showed me that they need to follow the rules set by the government and get the right licenses. People want healthier options. The shop needs to keep up with new technology like digital payments and have a good website. The shop also has to obey laws about food and workers. It also has to think about being kind to the environment. All these things affect how the coffee shop makes plans and decisions.

I've realized just how important it is for businesses to have a strong online presence today. Oo-de-Lally Coffee needs to increase its online sales and improve its website to keep up with what customers want. I've learned about using digital tools to reach more people and interact with them more effectively, and I'm excited to put that knowledge into action.

However, before I finish my Digital Marketing Plan, there are some areas I still need to explore. I want to learn more about advanced digital marketing strategies like search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing, which will be really important for getting more traffic to the coffee shop's website and engaging with the business. It's also crucial for me to understand how to create and run customer loyalty programs online, which I'm confident could significantly boost the coffee shop's sales and foster strong, long-term relationships with its customers.

In summary, while this month's coursework has helped me lay a solid foundation for my digital marketing plan, there's still a lot more for me to learn and research. I want to make sure that Oo-de-Lally Coffee can do well in the competitive coffee shop market.
